Export Controls & Compliance Attorneys

Fisher & Associates advises clients on key considerations to assist them with remaining compliant with all aspects of defense related export control laws. We work with defense industry clients to assist them with complying with all applicable defense related export laws. This includes the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), The Arms Export Control Act (AECA), as well as the U.S. State Department’s International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

The regulations implement the provisions for the AECA, as detailed in Title 22 (Foreign Relations), Chapter I (State Department) and subchapter M of the Code of Federal Regulations. It is the responsibility of the State Department to interpret and enforce ITAR.
